Mataram, University of Mataram – Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the University of Mataram (UNRAM) Conducts the Thematic Dismissal of Students in the Even Semester Year 2019 in the UNRAM Rectorate Field, Monday, July 15, 2019.
A total of 1,543 students participated in the KKN this period which was spread across all districts on Lombok islands such as North Lombok, West Lombok, Central Lombok, and East Lombok. KKN will last for 47 days from July 15 to August 30, 2019.
LPPM Chair Muhammad Ali, Ph.D. explained that KKN this period was divided into 5 (five) Themes, the first was the Theme of Infrastructure, Second Maritime, Third Tourism, Four Populations, and Fifth Stunting.
Ali hopes that students always coordinate with relevant parties.
“We expect the younger siblings to carry out the KKN later, please pay attention to the direction of the field supervisor, community leaders, guard the good name of the alma mater, keep the name of the leader and maintain health, so that all KKN students return to this beloved campus. The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (Ministry of PUPR) which on this occasion was represented by Aprilia Lely Nirmala as the PKP Head of the NTB Province appealed to KKN students to collaborate with other faculties and play a role in accordance with their respective fields.
“Working together is good and compact with friends at the post. Make people smile when the siblings are in the village or in their assisted areas and even make them proud when the siblings have been repatriated, “Lely said.
Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs Agusdin, SE., MBA., DBA while representing UNRAM Rector releasing KKN students, hopes that KKN students can carry out the university’s mission well so that excellent cooperation between universities and communities. Furthermore, Agusdin advised, “Keep the good name of the institution, because you will face habits and culture that you certainly have never faced, respect the habits of the community that is different from your habits”. he concluded.
