Mataram, University of Mataram – External Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) Activities for the 2019 Student Field Creativity Program (PKM) held at the University of Mataram (UNRAM) Dome Building, Thursday 17 July 2019.
The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) commissioned the Monev Team namely Cokronda Javandira from Mahasaraswati University Denpasar, Jazuli, ST., M.Eng from Dian Nuswantoro University, Dr. Achmad Zulfa Juniarto from UNDIP and I Gusti Bagus Suryawan and Warmadewa University to conduct the Monev of the NTB Region.
PKM Monev Activity 5 This field was attended by 17 Universities with a total of 91 PKM titles. UNRAM 39 Title, IKIP Mataram 1 title, University of West Nusa Tenggara as 4 titles, Bumi Gora Mataram University 2 titles, Al-Azhar Islamic University 1 Title Muhammadiyah Mataram University as many as 9 titles, STMIK Mataram 2 titles, Tourism College (STP) Mataram 1 title, 8 titles of Hamzanwadi University, Syaikh Zainuddin Nahdatul Wathan University 1 title, STIE Bima 1 title, Samawa University as many as 8 titles, Sumbawa University of Technology 9 titles, STKIP Taman Siswa Bima as 1 title, STKIP Yapis Dompu 2 titles, STKIP 1 title Santu Paulus, Wira Wacana Sumba Christian University with 1 title.
Prof. Dr. Lalu Husni, SH., M.Hum (UNRAM Chancellor) when delivering a speech at the event said that external Monev was carried out to measure/evaluate the progress of PKM implementation in 5 fields of students who received grants from Kemenristekdikti.
“If the results of the Monev pass are reviewed, the results of the monitoring and evaluation will be used as a reference to determine the participation of students in the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) in 2019 at Udayana University, Denpasar, Bali,” said Prof. Husni.
Furthermore, Prof. Husni explained, many graduates of Higher Education have academic excellence but many fail in the world of work because of the lack of creativity and innovation. “Therefore, PKM is a solution to deliver students to reach the level of enlightenment of creativity and innovation based on the mastery of Science and Technology and Faith. Moreover, we are currently in the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, wherein this era we not only need good academic values but also have to be proven by skills, creativity, and innovation equipped with new literacy in the form of data, technology, and human literacy to meet 4.0 Industrial Revolution. “, He said.
Through this PKM activity, students are given opportunities to implement abilities, expertise, responsibility, build teamwork (teamwork) and develop creative activities in the field of science that are pursued to prepare students to become aspiring scholars and entrepreneurs.
