Unram Holds Technical Guidance for the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program

Mataram, University of Mataram — The University of Mataram (Unram) held a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) program for student organizations (Ormawa) that successfully secured funding under the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) on Monday, June 22, 2026. The event, which took place at the Hall of Building D, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Unram, was attended by academic advisors, invited speakers, and students.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of Unram, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T. In his remarks, Dr. Sujita expressed his deep appreciation to the academic advisors and conveyed his pride in the students who were selected from among the many program proposals submitted. He emphasized that the selected students are exceptional individuals with great potential to bring positive change to society.
“The PPK Ormawa program carries significant value. Through this program, students are trained to plan, implement, evaluate, and improve programs directly in the field. It is a real platform for developing leadership and managerial skills as future leaders of the nation,” he stated.
Furthermore, Dr. Sujita highlighted the importance of academic recognition for students who dedicate five to six months to community engagement activities. He encouraged students to maintain close communication with their respective study programs and vice deans so that their participation in the program could be converted into academic credits, such as substitutes for internships, community service programs (KKN), or Entrepreneurship courses.
The technical guidance session was moderated by L. Rizal, S.E., M.E., and featured two speakers who delivered essential materials related to program implementation. The first session, titled “Technical Implementation and Logbook Reporting for PPK Ormawa,” was presented by M. Subhan Bahruddin Rosyidi. The second session, “Budget Planning and Financial Reporting,” was delivered in detail by Dr. Ida Ayu Okaswati to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of program funds.
Through this intensive training, Unram reaffirms its commitment to continuously supporting and monitoring the implementation of the program in the field, ensuring that the outcomes generated provide meaningful and optimal impacts, both for the target communities and for enhancing the university’s achievements and reputation.
