Mataram, Universitas Mataram – Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pembelajaran Masyarakat dan Desa (KKN-PMD) Universitas Mataram (Unram) mengenalkan ember komposter dan alat penabur pupuk berbahan pipa PVC kepada masyarakat Desa Kayangan, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Kamis (16/7/2026). Sebanyak 37 peserta mengikuti sosialisasi dan praktik pemanfaatan kedua inovasi tersebut. Ember komposter digunakan untuk mengolah sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk kompos, sementara alat penabur pupuk dirancang untuk mempercepat dan meratakan proses pemupukan sekaligus menghemat tenaga.
