Unram Receives Budget Implementation Performance Indicator Award in 2024 Category of Best Public Service Agency Work Unit

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) won first place in the Best Public Service Agency Work Unit Category in 2024. This award was given by the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (Kanwil DJPb) at the Regional Coordination Meeting for the Implementation of the NTB Province Budget in 2025. This event took place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 which was held in a hybrids, located in the KPPN Mataram Hall and the Youtube page of the Regional Office of DJPb NTB.
The award was obtained through optimal budget implementation performance indicators. The award certificate was handed over directly to Unram, Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd., as a form of appreciation for dedication and commitment in managing the budget in accordance with the principles of transparency, accountability, and results-oriented.
Prof. Sukardi said that this award was a motivation for Unram to continue to improve financial governance. “This award is the result of collective hard work. We will continue to optimize budget management in order to support quality education, research and service as well as provide benefits to the community,” said Prof. Sukardi.
The awards given to work units with the best performance aim to increase the spirit in conducting tasks. The ranking is determined by the success of the work unit in improving the acquisition of the Budget Implementation Performance Indicator (IKPA) score in 2024.
There are 7 types of award categories including the Best Supervisory Work Unit Category, Best Public Service Agency Work Unit Category, Best Deconcentration/Assistance Task Work Unit Category, Best Media Partner Work Unit Category, Small Pagu Work Unit Category, Medium Pagu Work Unit Category, and Large Pagu Work Unit Category.
The Head of the Regional Office of DJPb NTB, Ratih Hapsari Kusumawardani, S.Si., M.A., M.T., said that the targeted management of the State Budget (APBN) will affect the government’s efforts to encourage equitable distribution of public welfare, increase economic growth, and face global challenges.
“The State Budget is designed to maintain stability inclusiveness and sustainability in order to improve people’s welfare through inclusive and sustainable economic growth. However, global challenges such as regional conflicts have a significant impact on the national economy, especially through supply chain disruptions and weakened investment. Therefore, targeted and adaptive state budget management is needed to anticipate the impact of these conflicts, ensure that people’s needs are met and maintain development momentum and improve quality of life amid global pressures,” she said.
The achievement of this award reflects the synergy and hard work of the entire Unram academic community in supporting the effectiveness of budget implementation to support educational programs and services to the community. With this achievement, Unram continues to be committed to improving financial governance and making a positive contribution to sustainable development, especially in the NTB region.
