Mataram, University of Mataram — The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) held an audience session at the University of Mataram (Unram) on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in the Rector’s Conference Room, Unram Rectorate.

The visit was warmly welcomed by Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Akmaluddin, S.T., M.Sc.(Eng.), Ph.D., together with Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si.

On this occasion, Prof. Akmaluddin conveyed his appreciation for Bawaslu NTB’s visit to Unram, recognizing it as part of the effort to strengthen synergy between higher education institutions and the election supervisory body.

“The University of Mataram is open to collaboration in efforts to strengthen democratic literacy and participatory oversight, particularly among the academic community,” stated Prof. Akmaluddin.

The audience session continued with a discussion exploring opportunities for cooperation between Bawaslu NTB and Unram. As the event concluded, a ceremonial exchange of souvenirs was carried out as a symbol of goodwill and a commitment to collaboration between Bawaslu NTB and Unram.
