With the theme “Developing Potential Through Competition to Strengthen Sports Solidarity in NTB,” this competition serves not only as a platform for students to express their interests and talents in sports, particularly futsal, but also as a means of fostering achievements and strengthening networks among higher education institutions in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) region.

This event is part of the flagship programme of the FKIP Unram Sports Club and will take place over two days, from 27 to 28 June 2025. A total of 17 futsal teams from various universities in NTB are participating, including UIN Mataram, Muhammadiyah University of Mataram, Mandalika Education University, Hamzanwadi University, IPDN NTB Campus, and several internal faculties of Unram such as FKIP, the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry, the Faculty of Animal Science, and the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Science.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Muh. Makhrus, M.Pd., Deputy Dean III for Student and Alumni Affairs at FKIP, expressed appreciation for the organisation of this competition as a tangible form of character development and student achievement.

“We highly appreciate the initiative of the FKIP Unram Sports Club in organising this competition. The spirit of competition, combined with sportsmanship and togetherness, reflects the character education we are building within the campus environment,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Advisor of the FKIP Unram Sports Club, Dr. Prayogi Dwina Angga, S.Or., M.Pd., conveyed pride in the hard work of all committee members and the support from various parties that made this competition a success.

“I extend my highest appreciation to all committee members who have worked tirelessly to realise this event. The Futsal Competition 2025 is a new breakthrough in the Sports Club’s work program, featuring a strong and positive competitive spirit among students. This marks the first step towards more structured talent development,” Dr. Prayogi explained.

With a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere, the Futsal Competition 2025 is expected to become an important momentum in fostering solidarity among students across NTB through sports, as well as nurturing talented futsal athletes from higher education institutions.
