Unram Conducts Technical Guidance for 2025 Simbelmawa-Funded PKM, Preparing Students for Pimnas

Mataram, University of Mataram — The University of Mataram (Unram) organized a Technical Guidance session for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) on Saturday (August 23), aimed at six student teams that successfully secured funding through Simbelmawa 2025. Consisting of two Student Creativity Program – Creative Work (PKM-KC) teams and four Student Creativity Program – Exact Research (PKM-RE) teams, the activity brought together a total of 27 students.

The session featured experienced speakers, including Dr. Jeckson Siahaan, M.Pd., who delivered a presentation on Towards Pimnas; Prof. Dr. Faturrahman, S.Pt., M.Si., who discussed the field of Exact Research; and I Wayan Joniarta, S.T., M.T., who addressed the field of Creative Work.

In his opening remarks, Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau of Unram, Dwi Suswanto, S.Kom., M.M., emphasized that PKM is not merely a prestigious competition, but also a platform for shaping student character. “Through PKM, students learn critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, as well as how to develop sustainable products leading toward entrepreneurship or even their final thesis,” he stated.

Dwi also expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the students who had reached this stage. “Thank you for the dedication and effort you have put forth. We hope that all teams receiving funding will advance to Pimnas,” he added.

With a spirit of innovation and collaboration, Unram students are ready to demonstrate their best work at the national level.
