Unram Inaugurates 108 Civil Servant Lecturers through Oath-Taking Ceremony

Mataram, University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram) held the Official Appointment and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Civil Servants (PNS) within the Unram on Monday, June 23, 2025.
The activity took place solemnly in the Unram Senate Conference Room and was attended by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Head of Bureau, and clergy from various religions who accompanied the oath procession according to the beliefs of each participant. A total of 108 civil servant lecturers officially received the Appointment Decrees (SK) and took the oath as part of the formal process of becoming a full state civil apparatus.
In his remarks, the Rector said that the oath taking is not just a formality, but a form of moral commitment that emphasizes integrity, loyalty, and responsibility as servants of state and community.
“As civil servants, you are expected to work professionally and sincerely, uphold the tri dharma of higher education, and be part of the driving force for positive change within the University of Mataram,” he firmly stated.
He also emphasized the importance of upholding the values of transparency and accountability in carrying out daily duties, especially in the dynamic and challenging world of higher education.
The oath-taking was conducted symbolically by the Rector and witnessed by religious leaders according to each participant’s faith. This solemn ceremony marks an important milestone in the careers of these newly appointed civil servant lecturers, who will carry significant responsibilities in supporting the university’s vision and mission.
Through this event, Unram hopes that all appointed civil servants will carry out their duties with full dedication and make meaningful contributions to improving the quality of education and services within the university environment.
