Mataram, University of Mataram — The Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs of the University of Mataram (Unram), Prof. Dr. Sukardi, S.Pd., M.Pd., inaugurated Suban, S.Sos., M.M. as the Head of General Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unram, on Tuesday, February 4, 2026, at the Main Meeting Room of the Rectorate.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the university leadership and the leadership of the Faculty of Agriculture.

In his remarks, Prof. Sukardi stated that the position entrusted to the appointee is a mandate that must be carried out with full responsibility, particularly in supporting the smooth delivery of administrative services within the faculty.

He emphasized that responsiveness is the key element in carrying out service duties. “In performing our duties, competence is important, but responsiveness is paramount. Being quick to respond and resolve issues is essential because our responsibility is to serve, especially students, as well as lecturers and education staff,” he said.

Prof. Sukardi also encouraged the newly appointed official to work proactively and strengthen coordination with leaders and work teams. According to him, effective communication plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of duties and services within the faculty.

Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of work discipline and strengthening teamwork as part of efforts to improve institutional service quality. He expressed hope that the newly appointed official would be more actively involved in the field to ensure that services are delivered optimally.

In closing, Prof. Sukardi expressed his expectation that the newly inaugurated official would carry out the mandate effectively and support the strengthening of administrative governance within the Faculty of Agriculture, Unram.
