Halo Semeton Unram! Universitas Mataram resmi memulai pembangunan International Tropical Seaweed Research Center (ITSRC) dan Klinik Spesialis Kedokteran Kepulauan di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Melalui peletakan batu pertama bersama Wakil Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia, pembangunan ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam memperkuat peran kampus dalam riset rumput laut bertaraf internasional serta menghadirkan layanan kesehatan kepulauan yang lebih dekat dengan masyarakat pesisir. ITSRC dirancang sebagai pusat riset rumput laut tropis dunia yang akan melibatkan peneliti internasional dan masyarakat lokal. Sementara itu, Klinik Spesialis Kedokteran Kepulauan akan menjadi fasilitas pendukung pendidikan dokter spesialis sekaligus layanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat sekitar Teluk Ekas. Program ini diharapkan mampu mendorong peningkatan produktivitas rumput laut, memperkuat ekonomi pesisir, serta meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan di wilayah kepulauan. 📌 Perjalanan pembangunan ini tentu belum selesai.
