Mataram, University of Mataram<\/strong> \u2014 The University of Mataram (Unram) continues to encourage students to keep learning, creating, and delivering real impact. One of the efforts is through the Socialization of the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) 2026. Held on February 24, 2026, at the Unram Dome Building, the event served not only as a platform for student organization development but also as a space for students to foster creativity, sharpen critical thinking, and directly contribute to community service and empowerment.<\/p>\n

The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) is a university\u2011led initiative designed to foster the development of student organizations through activities implemented in the form of community service and empowerment. Through this program, student organizations are not only strengthened institutionally but are also guided to deliver tangible solutions to various challenges faced by society.<\/p>\n

In his address, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T., underscored the importance of nurturing a student spirit that consistently generates meaningful impact.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis program is not merely about drafting proposals and securing funding. Beyond that, it reflects our dedication to the nation cultivating a creative atmosphere, solving problems, and delivering benefits to society at large. Impact should not rest solely on lecturers; students, too, must be able to contribute. Your critical thinking can help resolve societal challenges across diverse fields of knowledge, enabling many sectors to grow with results that truly benefit the wider community,\u201d stated Dr. Sujita.<\/p>\n

\n

The socialization event featured several speakers who provided technical presentations related to PPK Ormawa. Prof. Dr. Ir. Erwan, M.Si<\/a>. opened with an introduction to the program, followed by Dr. Ida Ayu Oka Suwati Sideman, S.T., M.Sc<\/a>., who explained the locations and topics, proposal submission, expected outputs, and sub\u2011proposal evaluation. M. Subhan Bahruddin Rosyidi, S.Pt<\/a>., M.Si<\/a>. then presented guidelines on application usage and proposal structure, while Rahmi Sri Ramadhani, S.E., M.Si<\/a>. delivered a general overview along with supporting documents. All sessions were moderated by Dr. Indriyanto, M.P., ensuring that the discussions remained interactive and informative.<\/p>\n

In addition to the technical presentations, the event also featured Abdurrahim, S.Pt<\/a>. and M. Haikal, who shared their experiences in preparing and successfully passing PPK Ormawa proposals. Both emphasized the importance of teamwork, consistency, and the courage of students to present creative ideas that deliver direct impact to society.<\/p>\n

The sharing session provided inspiration as well as motivation for participants to be more confident in developing their ideas, while reinforcing the understanding that program success does not rely solely on the proposal itself, but also on commitment and concrete implementation in the field.<\/p>\n

Through this socialization, Unram opened space for students to strengthen organizational capacity, foster creativity, and deliver tangible solutions for society.
