Improving the Ability to Write Research Proposals, LPPM Unram Holds a Workshop on National Competitive Research Proposals for DRTPM Dikti Funds
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Research and Community Service Institute of the University of Mataram (LPPM Unram) held a Workshop and National Competitive Research Proposal for the Higher Education DRTPM Fund 2024 on Monday (18/3) at the Auditorium dr. Yunita Sabrina Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK Unram).
This workshop and research proposal clinic was held to improve the ability of Unram lecturers in preparing National Competitive Research Proposals, with the aim of increasing the number of National Competitive Research proposals for lecturers funded by the DRTPM Dikti funds.
Research Coordinator of LPPM Unram, Prof. Buan Anshari, ST, M.Sc. (Eng), Ph.D. as the Head of the Committee in his report explained that there were 102 proposals that had been registered consisting of 34 proposals from the Faculty of Agriculture; 16 proposals from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK); 14 proposals from the Faculty of Law, Social and Political Sciences (FHISIP); 12 proposals from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB); and other faculties each under 10 proposals.
“The 2024 scheme in general has basic research, applied research, and foreign cooperation research, perhaps the most accessed is basic research. The schemes are still the same as before, the requirements may be slightly different. Basic research requires a minimum Sinta score of 300 for science, 100 for social science; applied research requires a Sinta score of 500 for science and 150 for social science,” said Prof. Buan.
At the end of his report, Prof. Buan expressed his hope that Prof. Diah as a Professor of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Diponegoro University (Undip) could provide tips and tricks to pass the national scheme in 2024, as well as the hope that the participants of this workshop and proposal clinic could produce quality proposals and produce outputs that encourage the improvement of Unram’s IKU-5.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si. on the same occasion said that Unram and Undip have long established good relations including collaboration in the exchange of knowledge in various fields at the national level.
“Prof. Diah will also escort us on how to arrange proposals that have appropriate strategies so that they can pass national funding,” said Prof. Nana.
Prof. Nana further explained that the amount of funding allocation for LPPM is not as big as Undip, but LPPM has never lost the spirit to be able to build collaborations with various national and international universities in order to overcome the gaps and inequalities that exist at Unram.
“NTB with a coastal length of about 2,333 km contributed more than 17% to the premium sector of the national fisheries sector so this is an enormous potential for research, hopefully through this activity we can talk about how to link between terrestrial and deterritorial research so that development in NTB Province is truly more directed,” said Prof. Nana.
This workshop and research proposal clinic presented Professor of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Undip, Prof. Dr. Ir. Diah Permata Wijayanti, M. Sc. with the Material of Research Proposal Preparation in accordance with the DRTPM Dikti Guidebook and Research Proposal Clinic; Presentation of Sinta Material by I Wayan Sudiarta, Ph.D. as Coordinator of Data, Information, and Quality of LPPM Unram, and guided by Syahrul, ST., MA.
