Running a Test Tour, Communication Studies Department Revives 16 Tourism Villages
Mataram, Universitas Mataram – The Communication Science Department at Universitas Mataram (Ilmu Komunikasi) received a Kedaireka 2022 Matching Fund grant. Through this grant, the Test Tour programme is carried out in 16 Mandalika Ring Tourism Villages for 2 days from November 18–19, 2022.
In the implementation of this program, it also invites media crews, content creators, and other related parties to try the tour packages offered by the 16 Mandalika Circle Tourism Villages. The villages consist of Labulia Village, Penujak Village, Ende Village, Sade Village, Sepakek Village, Marong Village, Sukarara Village, Bonjeruk Village, Selong Belanak Village, Mekar Sari Village, Mertak Village, Kuta Village, Tanak Beak Village, Karang Sidemen Village, Lantan Village, and Aik Berik Village.
According to the Chief Executive, Hartin Nur Khusnia, S.I.P., M.A., the purpose of the Test Tour was to give participants experience with the tour packages that the Mandalika Circle Tourism Village offered.Also, it wants to make sure that the people in the Mandalika Circle Tourism Village are ready to welcome tourists.
“We hope that the Test Tour participants will have an interesting experience and will share their experiences on the various media channels that they have. In the future, with the story of the experience, the tourist villages around Mandalika Circle will become more famous and attract visitors to visit,” she said.
Hartin also added that after the test tour was held, there would be a launch and dissemination of the results of the promotional production of the Mandalika Circle Tourism Village tour package.
