Mataram, The University of Mataram – The Technical Implementation Unit for Counseling and Career Development Guidance of University of Mataram held a Student Academic Guidance Orientation in collaboration with the Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry. The activity was held in the Second Floor Meeting Room of Fatepa Unram Building on Friday (14/7).

The Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry  Unram, Baiq Rien Handayani, SP., M.Si., Ph.D., admitted that this activity was our wishes in academic community which was also related to the Main Indicators  of Higher Education.

“We have a home work in two main indicators, especially in indikator 1 which is very closely related to alumni. The alumni improvement and various achievements at the University and at the faculty,” She said.

She also admitted that the academic guidance training was her first time in 30 years as a lecturer. “Alhamdulillah, it is never too late, very grateful for the young lecturers, this time we are equipped with expertise, skills, skills and approaches  that we may not have gotten before,” continued Dean Fatepa.

“She hopes that for the first 6-month program, mapping and various things related to new students and character building, from the beginning it can be done. Then, in the last 6 months, we try together to prepare alumni to be better prepared to enter the world of work,” said Baiq Rien Handayani, SP., M.Si., Ph.D.

The workshop was attended by Vice Dean of Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry, Academic Supervisors  and lecturers in the faculty Unram.
