Mataram, University of Mataram – The Rector University of Mataram (Unram) has just inaugurated Unram Food Court, Thursday (27/7) which located right in the previous east canteen of Unram, and now, Unram Food Court comes with a modern, minimalist and neatly arranged concept.

The event began with a report by Dr. Ir. Syamsuhaidi, MS., as Chairman of Unram Business Management Agency. He reported that the Unram Food Court was completed within 2 months.

“There are 11 rooms prepared with various types of culinary with healthy, safe, clean and halal food,” he said.

Unram Food Court was inaugurated directly by Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D as Rector of Unram. He said that the effort to establish a food court began with inputs obtained from many parties.

Furthermore, Prof. Bambang explained that the former west canteen of Unram would previously be made into a photoable park. Unram will continue to be arranged, so that, it becomes a beautiful, comfortable, safe campus as what we expected.

“The iron used in the construction of this food court is the iron in the previous canteen, we use it as well as possible. So that every fund used is only for useful things, “said Unram Rector.

At Unram Food Court, there is also a glass room that can be used for internal meetings with a capacity of 10 to 20 people.

“Small meetings can be done in the room. Anyone can use the glass room. So that, whoever holds a meeting will order food here and make our canteen more lively,” he hoped.

The inauguration of Unram Food Court marked Unram’s commitment to economic development on campus.
