Unram and Islamic Relief Canada Conduct Collaboration Related to Climate Change Resilience Project
Mataram, Mataram University – Mataram University (Unram) welcomed the arrival of Islamic Relief Canada on Wednesday (2/8). The visit was part of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the Rector’s Meeting Room.
The collaboration is related to climate change resilience projects. The issue of climate change is central and strategic in supporting the achievement of SDGs performance indicator targets.
Unram Rector, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., conveyed several offers of cooperation, one of which was the concept and handling of dry land.
“Our researchers will focus on helping people, especially those who are vulnerable to climate change, such as farmers and fishermen,” said the Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture.
