Unram and Sino Education Center Launch TIME 2023 Program

Mataram, the University of Mataram – the University of Mataram and the Sino Education Center SDN BHS, Malaysia synergized in organizing the 2023 Tailored Master’s Education (TIME) program. The program opened online on Friday, 25th of August 2023.

The activity was attended by the Director of Postgraduate Unram, Prof. Ir. Muhammad Sarjan, M.Agr.CP., Ph.D.; Vice Director I Postgraduate, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Farid Hemon, M.Sc.; and Coordinator of Bilingualization and Internationalization, Ahmad Junaidi, S.Pd., M.A., Ph.D. and also it was conducted by online meeting were parties from the Sino Education Center (SEC), they were Ahmad Lani, M.Ed. as Director of the SEC and his staff, along with students who are members of the TIME program.

The Postgraduate Director of Unram in his remarks revealed that this collaboration aims to strengthen, advance, and develop academic collaboration between Unram and SEC.

“This is a form of our collaboration, a full-time special class program for foreign students called Tailored International Master’s Education 2023, hereinafter referred to as TIME 2023,” said Prof. Sarjan.

Prof. Sarjan hopes that the SEC students can enjoy learning the master program at Unram, both online and will continue offline at the Unram Postgraduate Program.

“In the future we hope that there will be other collaboration opportunities to develop this TIME program,” he concluded.

Prof. Sarjan’ speech was also responded by Ahmad Lani, Director of SEC. He also hopes that not only SEC students can take part in the TIME program, but many other foreign students can study at Unram.

“We will continue this collaboration to send our students to study there. I hope the learning process of these students will also run smoothly,” he said.

Presented by Ahmad Junaidi as Unram’s Bilingualization and Internationalization Coordinator, that there were 18 SEC students who participated in the TIME program for 3 semesters.

As for various other fields that will be collaborated, such as student mobility programs, faculty exchange programs, scientific research and publications, student recruitment facilities for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels, Indonesian and Mandarin language programs, as well as executive classes and special full-time programs for foreign student.
