There are 24 PMM MBKM Program Students Will Study at the Faculty of Law Unram

Mataram, the Faculty of Law – the University of Mataram (Unram) accepted 212 Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) Inbound Independent Student Exchange (PMM 3) students from 104 PTN PTS throughout Indonesia. There are 24 students will take courses at the Unram Faculty of Law (FH Unram).

After being received by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. at the independence ceremony on 17th of August 2023 at the Rectorate Square, Unram. The 24 students who took part in the Independent Student Exchange Program at the Faculty of Law were officially welcomed back by the Dean of Faculty of Law, Dr. Lalu Wira Pria Suhartana, SH., MH, in the Main Courtroom LT 3 FH Unram, Tuesday, 22nd of August 2023.

In his speech, the Dean of Faculty of Law Unram said that there were 24 students at the Unram Faculty of Law and came from various universities in Indonesia.
“On average, they are in semesters 3 to 7. They will attend lectures for 1 semester,” said Dr. Wira.

Next, Dr. Wira explained that this activity is an activity related to Key Performance Indicators (IKU). “This inbound is one of several activities at IKU 2, such as internships, building villages, or carrying out humanitarian projects,” explained Dr. Wira.

The Independent Student Exchange Program, especially regarding Inbound students, is currently experiencing an increase from 2 people in 2021, 16 people in 2022, and 24 people in 2023, it means that interest in choosing the Unram Law Faculty is increasing.

According to Dr. Wira, this activity will broaden students’ insight and experience, both academically and socio-culturally, because while they are studying they will get to know the environment through interactions with the community.

“This activity is a new method so that students have a broader national insight,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Unram has released 59 (fifty nine) students to take part in MBKM activities in various government institutions and the legal profession.

One of the Inbound participants, Wahyu Putra Prada, a student at the Law Study Program at Tanjung Pura University. He said that Unram has a supportive academic environment and experienced teaching staff.

“This is a pedestrian-friendly campus because there are sidewalks and shady trees in the Unram area. I was very impressed with the friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere of this university, a lot of students were happy to provide information and assistance and created a very welcoming environment. “And I feel that this place will be a place that will support my personal development well,” said Wahyu.
