The University of Mataram and Undova Continue to Synergize for West Nusa Tenggara Development

Mataram, the University of Mataram – Institute for Research and Community Service Unram received a visit from the Vice Rector IV, Cooperation, Research and Innovation, University of Cordova Indonesia (Undova), namely Maslia Qomar, S.T., MPPM., and accompanied by Novi Sry Wahyuni, S.Pd., M.Hum. as Cooperation Division staff. This meeting took place in the Institute for Research and Community Service Unram on Monday (4/9).

At this meeting was also attended by the Community Service Coordinator, Dr. Faturrahman, S.Pt., M.Si.; Coordinator of KKN and Cooperation, Dr. Ir. Misbahuddin, S.T., M.T.; and Research Coordinator, Prof. Buan Anshari, ST., M.Sc.(Eng.)., Ph.D. This Undova gathering and working visit was a form of continuation of the Unram-Undova Serving activities which were conducted last August.

The Service Coordinator, Dr. Faturrahman, S.Pt., M.Sc. explained that the visit was a follow-up to the cooperation agreement which was previously signed by the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service Unram with the Rector of Undova. The Unram-Undova Serve activity is the initial activity program of the agreement. The Meeting or the discussion with Vice Rector IV, Undova Cooperation, Research and Innovation, Maslia Qomar, S.T., MPPM. was also part of strengthening and expanding the space for cooperation that will be built in the future by Unram and Undova.

“As for our hopes, of course we want Unram’s presence as a Leader University in West Nusa Tenggara to have a real impact on development in West Nusa Tenggara, both on Lombok Island and Sumbawa Island. “We also hope that Unram’s extraordinary human resources can take a strategic role in rural development, empowering coastal communities, helping and synergizing with other universities and the government in overcoming various real problems that exist in society,” explained Dr Faturrahman.

Several important points discussed at the meeting included plans to join the Unram-Undova conference, tripartite cooperation between UTM Malaysia-Unram-Undova in the field of technology, strengthening and strengthening research and service collaboration that is a solution to the real problems of society, especially in West Sumbawa Regency (KSB), prospects for the development and management of the KSB technopark, and strengthening cooperation in the field of journal management.

In the future, there will be a signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Unram with the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) and the Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries Undova.
