Unram Receives Untidar Benchmarking Visit
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Senate of the University of Mataram (Unram) received a benchmarking visit from the Senate of Tidar University (Untidar) in the Rector’s Conference Room, Unram Rectorate on Wednesday (11/15). The visit was carried out in order to discuss the governance of the University Senate organization at BLU universities, discussion of higher education management, cooperation in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and the implementation of the MBKM Program.
Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd. and Chairman of the Senate of Unram, Prof. Dr. Agil Al Idrus, M.Si., warmly welcomed the arrival of the Untidar group. Prof. Sukardi said that hopefully this visit could be followed up with cooperation which would certainly be welcomed by Unram.
On the occasion, Prof. Sukardi said that currently in the latest release of Asia University Rankings (AUR) 2024 Unram is included in the 9 Best Universities outside Java. Ranked 15th from state universities throughout Indonesia and ranked number 2 universities from the Eastern Indonesia region.
“Of course, Unram’s achievements are the result of the kindness and contribution of the entire Unram academic community who continue to fight with enthusiasm and spur us to improve quality and become better,” said Prof. Sukardi.
In addition, currently the Rector of Unram is concentrating on heading towards a World Class University, so that it will pursue and increase international classes and increase foreign students. These efforts will continue to be improved in order to realize Unram as a World Class University.
Prof. Agil as Chairman of the Unram Senate added that the Unram senate consists of 7 commissions, namely the Education Commission, Research Commission, Service Commission, Quality Assurance Commission, Ethics Commission, Cooperation Commission, and finally the Planning and Governance Commission. Until now the total number of senate members is 61 people.
The Untidar delegation led directly by the Rector of Untidar, Prof. Dr. Sugiyarto, M.Si., expressed his gratitude to Unram for receiving a visit from Untidar. In this visit, Untidar came with 2 groups, namely the Untidar senate group and the transformation team group to BLU.
The reason for this visit is to be able to adapt the positive things from Unram to be applied to Untidar.
“Overall, the point is that we come to Unram to be sure that we can get blessings from this friendship and there must be goodness poured out on all of us. We also want to learn how management in the field of health, how to manage BLU well, as in Unram even though it is outside Java Island, it has been seen nationally and even internationally, “said Prof. Sugiyarto.
The Untidar group that attended consisted of the Rector; Vice Rector II; Secretary of the Senate; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dean of FKIP; Members of the Senate Elements of Professors from FKIP; Members of the Senate Elements of Lecturer Representatives; Head of LPPM; and Secretary of LPPM.
