Rector of Unram Monitors UTBK First Day, Ensures Examination Runs Smoothly
Mataram, University of Mataram – The first day of the implementation of the National Selection Based Test (SNBT) Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) was a highlight at the University of Mataram (Unram). Prof. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., Rector of Unram, directly monitored the exam on Tuesday (30/4) at the Unram campus.
With a total of 525 registered participants in session 1 and 525 participants in session 2, the exam was held in 7 locations spread across the Unram campus, namely at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Marine Study Programmes Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta), UPA Library, and UPA Pustik.
The Rector of Unram ensured that the UTBK implementation process went smoothly and orderly.
“We are committed to providing the best facilities for UTBK participants in undergoing this exam. We also closely monitor the exam process to ensure the smoothness and comfort of participants during the selection,” said Prof. Bambang.
In addition, the Rector of Unram also emphasised the importance of integrity and honesty in undergoing the exam, “We hope that all participants will undergo the exam with dedication and avoid all forms of cheating.”
“To all UTBK participants, I would like to convey a message that you take this exam with high determination and enthusiasm. Use this opportunity to show your best potential. Remember that it is not just about the final result, but also about the process of learning and testing yourself. Believe in your abilities and give your best. Hopefully this exam will be the first step towards success in pursuing higher education at the University of Mataram and your future goals,” he concluded.
The first batch of UTBK at Unram took place from 30 April to 7 May 2024. Full support from all campus components, from teaching staff to administrative staff, is an important factor in the successful implementation of this national exam.
