Mataram, University of Mataram – Thursday, January 30, 2025, University of Mataram (Unram) warmly welcomed a visit from 74 students of MA Al-Muwahiddin Lelede. Accompanied by the Principal and accompanying teachers, this visit aims to introduce Unram to 12th grade students and open their insights into the world of higher education.

The event began with the presentation of Unram’s profile video, which contained a comprehensive overview of Unram. The Principal of MA Al-Muwahiddin Lelede, Ustaz Mujitahid, S. Pd, expressed his gratitude and hope that this visit could give the students a clear overview of Unram and help them prepare more carefully.

“Hopefully among the 74 students present, there will be students who can continue their education at Unram. Hopefully the information provided can be used as motivation to take advantage of the existing opportunities,” he said.

Furthermore, the event continued with a more in-depth socialization of Unram by the Head of Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Dwi Suswanto, S.Kom., M.M.. The socialization contained important information related to the faculties in Unram, study programs, capacity, entry to the university, facilities, Student Activity Units (UKM), and various scholarships offered by Unram. The students were also given the opportunity to ask questions in the question and answer session to dig deeper into the information they needed.

Dwi Suswanto in his delivery also did not forget to slip some motivation aimed at encouraging students to be more enthusiastic in achieving their dreams and taking advantage of opportunities to continue their education to university.

“Prepare yourself as well as possible, take advantage of the time and opportunities available. Never hesitate to follow every opportunity that exists, be it in the form of enrollment paths or scholarships,” he said.

He also emphasized how important it is for prospective students to try to pass through national paths, such as SNBP or SNBT as a step to increase the chances of being accepted at Unram. However, for students who do not pass the pathway do not give up because Unram also opens the Mandiri pathway as the last pathway.

The event ended with a group photo session as a memento of a meaningful visit. This visit is expected to provide a clearer insight into Unram, open up new opportunities to achieve dreams, and motivate them to prepare themselves as well as possible in continuing their education to a higher level.
