Unram Inaugurates Functional Officials of First Expert Educational Laboratory Technician Faculty of Engineering

Mataram, University of Mataram – Friday, February 07, 2025, University of Mataram (Unram) held an inauguration ceremony and an oath-taking ceremony for the functional position of First Expert Educational Laboratory Official. The event took place in the main conference room of the Unram Rectorate and was attended by the Head of the Bureau of Finance and General Affairs, the Head of the staffing team, the officials to be inaugurated, and invited guests.

This event inaugurated two officials who took on a new mandate as Unram’s First Expert Educational Laboratory Officials, Nu’man Mansur, S.T., and M. Tohri, S.T.

In his speech, the Head of the Bureau of Finance and General Affairs of Unram, H. Aman, S.P., M.M., emphasized the importance of the role of Educational Laboratory Technician in supporting academic and research activities in the laboratory. He reminded that this functional position is a precious mandate and this inauguration is an important step in improving the professionalism and quality of laboratory services within the university.

“I would like to remind you that the position as a functional official is a honorable mandate, which you have carry out with dedication to reach this position. Maintain discipline as laboratory personnel, appreciate and utilize every observation obtained so that it can be developed and published. Show your best performance with dedication, discipline in fulfilling your duties, and high responsibility,” he said.

He also added that sincerity in working will bring ease and blessings. In addition, the inaugurated officials are expected to provide the best service to students, lecturers, and the community.

“Hopefully, with your involvement, Unram will continue to grow and become a better institution,” he concluded.

With this inauguration, Unram hopes that the First Expert Educational Laboratory Officials can play an active role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory management. This is also expected to encourage the improvement of the competence and professionalism of education personnel to support the achievement of Unram’s vision and mission as a superior and globally competitive higher education institution.
