Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) in collaboration with the Independent Accreditation Agency (LAM) Engineering held a 2025 New Instrument Socialization Activity which was held for two days, 28-29 April 2025, in the Senate Conference Room 3rd Floor, Rectorate Unram. This event is an accreditation process carried out by LAM Engineering for engineering study programs.

The Executive Committee Chairman of LAM Engineering, Prof. Dr-Ing, Ir. Misri Gozan, M.Tech., IPU., ASEAN.Eng., expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Unram as the host for holding this event.

“We are conducting this activity again in 26 cities with the aim of socializing new instruments that have quite a lot of fundamental changes related to national standards and accreditation and will be implemented in August 2025,” said Prof. Misri.

Unram’s Vice Rector IV, Prof. Akmaluddin, S.T., M.Sc. (Eng.), Ph.D. officially opened and welcomed LAM’s trust in choosing Unram as the organizer of this activity. In his remarks, Vice Rector IV Unram expressed his hope that through this activity the engineering study program could provide benefits and positive contributions to the community.

Prof. Akmal also briefly explained the development of Unram, especially the engineering study programs that have been accredited by LAM.

“There are 4 study programs accredited by LAM at the University of Mataram, Civil Engineering, Master of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, thank God 3 have been accredited superior and 1 is accredited excellent,” he added.

At this event, LAM Engineering also presented Prof. Dr. Ir. Misri Gozan, M.Tech, IPU, ASEAN. Eng; Dr. Ir. Agung W. Setiawan, ST., M.T., IPM., ASEAN. Eng; Prof. Dr. Ir. Zahrul Fuadi, ST., M.SC., IPM; and Ir. Yusuf Dewantoro Herlambang, ST., MT., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN. Eng. as presenters.
