Unram Holds Accreditation Field Assessment, Attended by Five BAN-PT Assessors

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) conducted an Accreditation Field Assessment on Saturday, May 17, 2025. This activity is part of the institutional evaluation process carried out by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) to ensure the quality of higher education nationally.
The activity that took place at the Unram Campus was attended by all levels of the academic community, ranging from university and faculty leaders, teaching staff, education staff, to student representatives from various faculties.
The event was officially opened in the Senate Conference Room by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St.Ph.D. In his speech, the Rector expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the presence of the assessors from BAN-PT.
“We welcome the assessors to the University of Mataram. We are ready to open all data, discuss, and show the various improvements we have achieved, as a form of our commitment to maintaining the quality of education,” he said.
The five BAN-PT assessors who attended this field assessment were; Prof. Dr. Indriaty Sudirman, S.E., M.Si.; Dr. Drs. Syamsurizal, M.Si.; Prof. Dr. Abdul Rohman, M.Si., Akt.; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, S.S., M.Hum.; Prof. Dr. Angkasa, S.H., M.Hum.
The assessment activities were not only carried out in the conference room, but also included a direct review by the assessors to several units and faculties at Unram. The assessors also dialogued with students, lecturers, and education personnel to dig deeper into the implementation of academic processes and campus governance.
One of the important agendas in this series of assessments is the recitation and signing of the Field Assessment Statement by the Rector of Unram along with five BAN-PT assessors as a form of joint commitment in maintaining transparency and accountability of the university’s quality assurance process.
Closing the assessment, the assessors expressed their appreciation for the significant progress Unram has made compared to the previous assessment.
“Unram shows extraordinary development in various aspects. We see a strong spirit of collaboration between leaders, lecturers, education staff, and students. This is a great strength to move to a higher level,” said one of the assessors.
With this assessment, Unram hopes to obtain the best accreditation results, while strengthening its position as one of the leading universities in eastern Indonesia.
