LAMEMBA Assessment Targets Superior Accreditation for Development Economics Study Program of FEB Unram

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram) again welcomed the visit of assessors as part of the accreditation assessment of the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program. This assessment activity took place for four days, from May 21 to 24, 2025, at the FEB Unram Meeting Room.

Two assessors from the Institute for Self-Accreditation of Economics, Management, Business and Accounting (LAMEMBA) were present in this activity, Dr. Lilik Sugiharti, S.E., M.Si. and Dr. Nurul Badriyah, S.E., M.E. The visit of the two assessors was warmly welcomed by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., along with the board of university leaders and FEB.

In his speech, the Rector of Unram said that this assessment is an important part of maintaining and improving the quality of higher education in Unram, especially in FEB. He also emphasized the university’s commitment in supporting strategic programs that can encourage study programs to achieve superior accreditation.

“ University of Mataram continues to encourage every study program to achieve its best accreditation. This is part of our massive movement to strengthen the quality, reputation, and institutional competitiveness,” said Prof. Bambang.

Related to this, Dr. Lilik Sugiharti in her speech said that this assessment is more of a confirmation of the data and information that has been submitted by the study program to LAMEMBA.

“Our visit is actually to confirm the data that you have submitted. Hopefully our arrival can also be a blessing for Unram. Hopefully the results of this assessment are in line with the expectations,” said Dr. Lilik.

This assessment activity is expected to provide constructive input for the development of the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program, as well as strengthen FEB Unram’s commitment in providing high quality higher education.
