In his remarks, the Rector of Unram expressed his belief that the inaugurated officials were the best individuals who were able to fulfill their mandate with high integrity and professionalism. On the same occasion, he also emphasized that the achievement of Unram’s Superior accreditation was the result of the hard work of all elements in Unram.

“With the Superior title that we have achieved, this spirit will not recede. We will encourage all study programs to become excellent, then jump towards international accreditation. We must stand in line with the best universities, both domestic and overseas,” he said.

Prof. Bambang also emphasized the importance of strengthening the performance of LPPM, including the drive to re-achieve an independent cluster in research and increase both the number and quality of lecturers’ scientific publications. He conveyed the target of “One Year, One Publication” for each lecturer as a strategic step to improve Unram’s academic reputation.

“Publication houses must be created and revived. Not all lecturers are proficient in writing in English, so LPPM must be there to support quality publications and accelerate the increase in citations and indexation of our journals,” said Prof. Bambang.

Specific to the community service program, the Rector of Unram emphasized the need to reform the KKN model in order to properly and sustainably map the potential of the village, and produce real impact. Evaluation of KKN performance must also be carried out objectively as part of Unram’s academic responsibility to the community.

Prof. Bambang also conveyed the big idea of creating an information dissemination system for academic activities, such as seminars and workshops to disseminate academic information that is real-time and reaches the entire community.

“We need to build an integrated system that allows important information such as seminars, workshops, conferences, and other academic activities to be delivered in real-time through notifications or popups to the entire academic community. Thus, information can be accessed quickly, massively, and evenly, encouraging active participation and strengthening a dynamic and responsive academic culture,” he concluded.

Closing his remarks, the Rector reminded the inaugurated Vice Deans of the importance of maintaining the good name of the institution, building a conducive work culture, and strengthening synergies and fully supporting the duties of the dean, especially in the accreditation process and creating a productive and inclusive academic environment.

“I am sure those inaugurated today are the best. Let us work sincerely, bring real change to Unram, and let our work speak,” he concluded.

This inauguration marks Unram’s commitment to strengthen institutional governance, improve academic competitiveness, and expand Unram’s real and impactful contribution to regional, national, and global development.
