LPPM Unram Signs 2025 National Competitive Research and Community Service Contracts

Mataram, University of Mataram – On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Research and Community Service Institute of the University of Mataram (LPPM Unram) officially signed the 2025 National Competitive Research and Service Contract. This activity is part of Unram’s commitment to continuously support its vision as an Excellent, Impactful, and Globally Competitive University.
On this occasion, the Head of LPPM, Dr. Andi Chairil Ichsan, S.Hut., M.Si. accompanied by the Secretary, I Wayan Sudiarta, Ph.D.; Head of General Subdivision, Roni Paslan, S.Adm.; and all lecturers and researchers in Unram.
This year’s National Competitive Research and Service Program from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) covers research implementation from June 2 to December 16, 2025, with the obligation to report in the form of progress reports, mandatory and additional outputs, to final reports and scientific publications. On the other hand, community service runs until December 31, 2025, with reporting to the BIMA platform and submission of results achievements.
In 2024, it was recorded that Unram obtained funding for 76 research titles with a total budget of more than IDR 8 billion. In 2025, Unram recorded significant achievements in the 2025 National Competitive Research Program. From a total of 243 submitted research proposals, 72 proposals were successfully funded, with the highest dominance in the Fundamental-Regular Research scheme of 46 proposals, followed by 17 proposals for Master Thesis Research. In terms of funding, Fundamental-Regular Research absorbed the highest funds of Rp4.92 billion, followed by Applied Research-Prototype Output with Rp960 million.
The Head of LPPM, Dr. Andi, emphasized that this achievement is clear proof of Unram’s commitment to strengthening the ecosystem of research and service that is quality, relevant, and has a broad impact on society.
Furthermore, Dr. Andi emphasized the importance of synergy between researchers, institutions, and society to realize Unram’s vision as an Excellent, Impactful, and Globally Competitive university.
“Now we have the scholar.unram.ac.id platform as an access center for scientific publications of lecturers and researchers. Through this platform, we hope to strengthen the dissemination of research outputs while encouraging collaboration across scientific fields,” said Dr. Andi.
As part of a strategic effort to strengthen an impactful research and service ecosystem, this platform is designed as an information center for scientific publications of Unram lecturers and researchers, as well as a platform that facilitates access and search for scientific papers relevant to various scientific fields.
This achievement reflects the active role of the Unram academic community in strengthening partnerships and community empowerment as a form of real service to the region. LPPM Secretary, I Wayan Sudiarta, Ph.D. added, “This achievement is expected to be a motivation in improving the quality and quantity of proposals in the future.”
