Unram Hosts Strategic National Coordination Meeting of the BUK Forum for State Universities and Polytechnics Across Indonesia

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) was honored to host the National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) of the Forum of Heads of Bureau/Directors of General Affairs, Staffing, and Finance of State Universities and Polytechnics across Indonesia, held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Senate Conference Room, Unram Rectorate Building.

The Head of the Forum, Deden Hery Hermawan, S.E., M.M in his report said that this forum was not only a routine coordination event, but also produced strategic recommendations for strengthening governance in the fields of general, staffing, and finance in the university environment.

“Our highest appreciation goes to all of you who have taken the time to attend in person. This is proof of our shared commitment to continue strengthening the bureaucratic management system in higher education,” he said.

The Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., in his speech officially opened the Rakernas as well as explained the various achievements and digital transformation that Unram had carried out during his leadership.

“All services at Unram are now systematically and digitalized. Since our status as a Public Service Agency State University (PTN-BLU), we have recorded the highest Budget Absorption nationally, which is 99.71%. Our Budget Performance is also ranked second nationally for PTN-BLU with 98.01, and Performance Accountability has improved rapidly from CC to A,” said Prof. Bambang.

Prof. Bambang also emphasized Unram’s commitment in accelerating the steps towards a superior campus. “From only three superior study programs, now almost half of the study programs at Unram have superior status. Unram as an institution has also been accredited as Superior. With careful calculation, we can build two new buildings and reorganize the campus environment into a greener and more comfortable environment,” he added.

The Rakernas also presented various strategic materials relevant to the challenges of HR management and financial governance in higher education. One of the main speakers, Suharmen, S.Kom., M.Si., from the State Civil Service Agency, presented material on CASN Recruitment (CPNS and PPPK) by emphasizing the principle of digitizing ASN management which focuses on customer-centric, data-driven, automate, global, and dynamic.

Furthermore, Dr. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, M.H., as Head of the OSDM Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Science, presented the latest HR governance policies within the Ministry of Education and Culture, moderated by Dr. H. Kurniawan, Ak., CA. from Singaperbangsa University, Karawang.

The material of Perception Equalization of Permendikbudsaintek Number 55 of 2024 concerning Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Higher Education Environment by the PPKPT Task Force and Fraud Prevention Material in the Management of Cooperation Funds and KIP-College (Regular / Inspired) was delivered by Albertus Agus Windarto, S.E., MM., CFrA. as Investment Inspector, Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology guided by the Head of BUK Tadulako University, Kamelia Burhan, S.E., M.M..

Through this Rakernas, Unram not only shows its readiness as a host, but also strengthens its role as a superior campus that actively encourages innovation in governance systems and budget management of digital-based, accountable and sustainable universities.
