Unram Rector Inaugurates Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Vice Dean of FHISIP for the 2025–2029 Period

Mataram, University of Mataram — On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the University of Mataram (Unram) held another important ceremony to strengthen institutional governance, the Inauguration and Oath-Taking of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Social, and Political Sciences (FHISIP) for the 2025–2029 period.

The solemn ceremony was led directly by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., and was attended by the university’s leadership board.

During the inauguration, based on Rector’s Decrees of the University of Mataram Number: 1305 and 1307/UN18/KP/2025, the newly appointed officials entrusted with leadership responsibilities were announced as follows:

Dr. Muhammad Syamsu Iqbal, S.T., M.T. as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram, for the 2025–2029 period.
Dr. Muhaimin, S.H., M.Hum. as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Law, Social, and Political Sciences (FHISIP) Unram, for the 2025–2029 period.
Dr. Syamsul Hidayat, S.H., M.H. as Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, FHISIP Unram, for the 2025–2029 period.
Dr. Lalu Saipudin, S.H., M.H. as Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, FHISIP Unram, for the 2025–2029 period.

The oath-taking ceremony was led directly by the Rector and witnessed by all attendees. In his remarks, the Rector delivered an important message about the responsibilities that come with the position emphasizing the need for integrity, dedication, and a spirit of collaboration in advancing the higher education institution.

Prof. Bambang also emphasized the importance of sustaining strategic programs aligned with national higher education transformation, the digitalization of governance, and the development of satellite campuses in various regions as part of Unram’s globalization vision.

With the inauguration of the new leadership, it is hoped that the synergy between faculties and the university will continue to strengthen in addressing the challenges of education and national development. May the entrusted responsibilities be carried out with full commitment and bring significant progress to Unram.
