Unram Partners with Mairodi Training to Conduct BNSP-Certified Laboratory Technician Training and Certification

Mataram, University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram), in collaboration with Mairodi Training, held a BNSP-certified Laboratory Technician Training and Certification Program. The event took place from August 5–7, 2025, at Fave Hotel in Mataram and was attended by administrative staff from the University Rectorate.
The training was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd. In his remarks, he encouraged participants to seize the opportunity to enhance their professional competencies and cultivate a spirit of continuous learning.
“Continue upgrading your skills. We hope that one day, all of you will become certified laboratory technicians,” he encouraged. “Start by learning the basics computer operations, laboratory procedures and approach it with seriousness. Remember, learning doesn’t always have to be formal; it is a lifelong process.”
He went on to emphasize that learning extends beyond theoretical knowledge, highlighting the importance of consistent practice and real-world experience.
“Education, training, meaningful experiences, and the formation of good habits these are the four essential pathways to learning. Through them, we not only sharpen our intellect but also cultivate our character and spiritual values,” he concluded.
Prof. Sukardi concluded his remarks by encouraging participants to stay committed throughout the three-day training. “Please make the most of this opportunity and attend the full three days. If you’re not confident with computers, now is the time to learn. I believe you all have a strong passion for learning,” he said with confidence.
Through this training, participants not only gain technical knowledge and hands-on skills related to laboratory work but also have the opportunity to obtain official certification from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), recognizing their competence at a national level. This initiative reflects the University of Mataram’s ongoing efforts to enhance the professionalism of its educational staff and support the university’s broader push toward digital transformation.
