Mataram, University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram) organized an Exhibition of Community Service Program (KKN) Products for the June–August 2025 period at the Unram Rectorate Courtyard on Thursday (September 4, 2025). The exhibition showcased KKN outputs across four main categories: National Library Literacy, Blue Economy, Green Economy, and Creative Economy, demonstrating students’ innovative contributions to rural development.

“I hope these initiatives will meaningfully enhance the welfare of village communities. If they are able to generate a tangible positive impact, it will signify the successful development of these products,” stated the Rector of Unram.

He added that students who encounter difficulties in promoting their products can utilize Unram Mart as a platform for both promotion and distribution.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the KKN-PMD Program at Unram, Dr. Ir. Misbahuddin, ST., MT., IPU, explained that the KKN product exhibition is organized into four categories. The first category, Smart Literacy, represents a collaboration between Unram and the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia.

“For the literacy category, 50 villages are involved. The primary goal is to establish Eco-Literacy programs in these villages, as we know that many children from grades 1 to 6 still struggle with basic reading and writing skills,” explained Misbahuddin.

Meanwhile, the Blue Economy product group comprises items derived from marine natural resources. The Green Economy category focuses on development systems that balance economic growth with environmental conservation. Lastly, the Creative Economy emphasizes the development of local potential through innovative ideas to create economically valuable products that can be marketed.

He expressed hope that the next KKN period would have an even greater impact, stating, “There is one key word, impact. Which is closely tied to maintaining quality. Quality cannot be achieved without hard work, it can only be ensured through dedicated and diligent effort.”
