Mataram, University of Mataram – Twenty students from the University of Mataram (Unram) participated in the Regional Technical Meeting and Try Out of the National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad (ONMIPA) 2025, held on Tuesday (September 16) at the UPA Pustik Laboratory. This activity served as an important preparatory step before the regional-level ONMIPA selection, which is scheduled to take place on October 11–14, 2025.

ONMIPA is an annual academic competition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. It is designed to strengthen students’ academic competencies and broaden their knowledge in mathematics and the natural sciences.

The competition is conducted in three stages, university, regional, and national levels and encompasses four disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The University of Mataram (Unram) fully supports the implementation of ONMIPA 2025 as a platform for students to sharpen their skills, achieve excellence, and contribute to the advancement of science. Through this support, Unram hopes its students will demonstrate their best competitiveness while bringing pride to the university at the national stage, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing a young generation that is excellent, competitive, and prepared to compete both nationally and internationally.
