Unram Strengthens International Accreditation Readiness through ASIIN SAR Preparation Workshop

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Accreditation Acceleration Unit of the University of Mataram (Unram) held a Workshop on the Preparation of ASIIN International Accreditation SAR Documents for the Cluster of the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Animal Science, Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry, and Postgraduate Program. The two-day workshop, conducted in a hybrid format both online via Zoom Meeting and onsite at the Senate Conference Room took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 14–15, 2025.
In the Head of Committee’s report, represented by Anindita Suliya Hangesti Mandra Kusuma, M.Pd, she conveyed related to the process and timeline for international accreditation.
“Unram itself is proceeding with international accreditation in 2 ACQUIN clusters and 3 ASIIN clusters. It should be noted that there are 3 time periods, starting from the signing of cooperation and contracts with international institutions, the uploading of SAR documents, and the ACQUIN/ASIIN field assessment,” she explained.
He also expressed his motivation and hope that this workshop would be seriously followed as a joint effort to improve the quality of Unram in the international stage.
“ Thank God, under the coordination of LPMPP, there are 3 study programs at Unram that have been accredited by ASIIN, the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, and Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering. Hopefully, this workshop can be taken seriously and can follow in the footsteps of the three study programs, ”he said.
This workshop invited a competent speaker in his field, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mustofa Lutfi, MP from Brawijaya University as a presenter, facilitator, and reviewer. The material presented in this workshop revolved around systems, concepts, management, and development, as well as assistance in drafting ASIIN SAR. In addition, another speaker invited to this event was Prof. Dr. Eng. I Gede Pasek Suta Wijaya, S.T., M.T., who presented material on ASIIN Preparation Best Practices at Unram.
The event was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana. She encouraged enthusiasm and expressed Unram’s support for the workshop as part of the effort to achieve the shared dream of being recognized not only nationally but also internationally.
“We must believe in our big dreams. We hope that Unram can become a university that is recognized nationally and internationally. Unram’s human resources must prepare themselves as fully as possible to achieve this big dream together,” she said.
Through the series of events in this workshop, ranging from material delivery, discussion sessions, to assistance in drafting SAR documents, it is hoped that this will be an important momentum to improve the quality of international accreditation document preparation and strengthen Unram’s position in the international level.
