Unram Holds the 2025 Job Fair to Strengthen Career Networks in Celebration of Its 63rd Dies Natalis

Mataram, University of Mataram — The University of Mataram (Unram) once again held the Unram Job Fair 2025 as part of the series of events commemorating its 63rd Dies Natalis. The event took place on Thursday (23/10) at the M. Yusuf Abu Bakar Auditorium, and was attended by 46 partner companies representing a wide range of industry sectors.

The Unram Job Fair 2025 presents various national and regional companies that offer job opportunities ranging from the education, banking, technology, tourism, to social entrepreneurship sectors. In addition to recruitment, this event also features talk shows, career consultations, CV writing training, and job interview guidance.

The Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Sujita S.T., M.T., who delivered the opening remarks, stated that the Job Fair is a tangible manifestation of Unram’s commitment and efforts to prepare graduates who are competent, competitive, and adaptable to industry needs.

“This job fair is one of Unram’s efforts and forms of responsibility as a university to ensure that students and alumni have broad access to job opportunities and are able to demonstrate their best qualities in the professional world,” he said.

Dr. Rachman Maulana Kafrawi, SH., MH., as Chair of the 2025 Job Fair Committee, expressed his hope that this job fair will continue to be held every year in order to help and encourage Unram graduates to obtain greater job opportunities.

“We sincerely hope that this Job Fair can continue to be held every year. We also hope for the full support of our partners, ministries, and related agencies to continue collaborating with Unram, as we believe that our graduates are competitive and have competencies that are not less than those of graduates from other major universities,” he said.

As a form of support for strengthening the national career ecosystem, this event was attended by Apt. Yoga Dwi Saputra S.Farm., M.Pharm. Sci., as Head of the Academic Support Unit for Counseling and Career Development (UPA BKPK) at Unram; Muslim, ST., M.Si., as Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of West Nusa Tenggara Province; and Dr. Rosaria Mita Amalia, M.Hum., as President of the Indonesia Career Center Network (ICCN), who also joined virtually.

Through the organization of this Job Fair, Unram hopes to continue strengthening its role as a bridge between the academic world and the workforce, while contributing to the development of outstanding human resources ready to face global challenges, in line with the vision toward the Golden Indonesia 2045.
