Mataram, University of Mataram — The Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Science (FHISIP) at the University of Mataram (Unram) once again showcased the creativity of its students through a photography exhibition at the Unram Impact Expo at GF Atrium Lombok Epicentrum Mall (29/11). This year, FHISIP chose a theme focused on environmental issues, presenting visuals that encourage public awareness of the importance of preserving nature.

The exhibition featured 42 photographic works and 5 film posters produced by students. In addition, trailers for several student films were played on televisions placed at the front of the stand. According to Bani, a student from FHISIP who was in charge of the exhibition stand, this number was chosen to provide a complete picture of student creativity in the visual arts.

“The works we are displaying here are approximately 42 photographs by students and 5 film posters that have been produced previously, complete with trailers shown on the television we have placed at the front,” he said.

Meanwhile, appreciation came from a visitor named Abin. According to him, this activity provides great benefits for people who want to see first-hand the variety of works from all faculties at Unram.

“This activity is very useful because we can see first-hand the products displayed from all Unram faculties, especially from FHISIP itself, which displays its photography works that are no less interesting,” he said.

This exhibition is hoped to encourage FHISIP students to continue developing their interests and talents in the field of visual arts, while also positioning photographic works as a medium for conveying relevant messages to the community. FHISIP’s participation in the Unram Impact Expo also strengthens the faculty’s role in contributing creatively and innovatively within the Unram environment.
