Unram Students Drive Impact through Entrepreneurship in P2MW 2026 Socialization

Mataram, University of Mataram — The University of Mataram (Unram) held the Socialization of the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) on February 26, 2026, at the Unram Dome Building, carrying the spirit “Starting from Students, Impacting through Entrepreneurship.” The event invited students to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, sharpen creativity, and develop businesses that not only build independence but also deliver tangible benefits to society.
In his address, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T., emphasized that P2MW provides students with the opportunity not only to become job seekers but also to become job creators.
“How we create products and market them is part of preparing for the world of work. Use the skills you have acquired on campus to develop your own businesses. Let us become entrepreneurs,” he stated.
On this occasion, Rini Nofrida, S.TP., M.Si. also delivered an introduction to P2MW, emphasizing that students must create impact in line with the program’s tagline: “Starting from Students, Impacting through Entrepreneurship.” She added that if students advance to the KMI Expo, many opportunities can be gained, ranging from building networks and acquiring knowledge to meeting potential investors. The program not only fosters an entrepreneurial spirit but also aims to generate tangible benefits for society.
P2MW consists of two stages, namely the Initial Stage and the Growth Stage, with six categories of business fields: Food and Beverage; Cultivation; Creative Industry, Arts, and Culture; Services and Trade; Manufacturing and Applied Technology; and Digital Business.
Inspiration also came from the experiences of Unram students who succeeded at the KMI Expo 2025. The TuChips Team by Citra Bela Qur’ani won 2nd Place in the Food & Beverage Category (Initial Stage), while the Radiant Sea Team represented by Dwi Safitri earned 2nd Runner‑Up in the Manufacturing & Applied Technology Category (Growth Stage). Their achievements prove that students’ creative ideas can grow into impactful enterprises.
Meanwhile, Adhitya Bayu Suryantara, MSA, presented the P2MW guidelines, providing technical directions to better prepare students in drafting proposals and developing their businesses.
The implementation of P2MW 2026 began in February and will run until April 7, the deadline for proposal submission. In Week 4 of April, the participating universities and accepted students will be announced. The program will be conducted intensively from May to October, with Week 3 of July as the deadline for progress report submission. The highlight of the program will take place in Week 3 of September 2026 through the KMI Expo, a platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial projects while expanding networks and business opportunities.
This P2MW socialization serves as an encouragement for students to embrace entrepreneurship, transform creative ideas into real businesses, and deliver benefits to society. It is time for Unram students to become entrepreneurs, create positive impact, and open job opportunities for many.
