Unram Rector Continues to Monitor Staff Performance, Reinforces Accountability and Facilities Management

Mataram, University of Mataram — On Wednesday (April 22), Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd., conducted an on‑site visit to observe and monitor staff performance across the campus. The inspection covered the Academic Support Unit University Library and the Faculty of Animal Science, underscoring his commitment to ensuring effective governance and the clear distribution of responsibilities within each unit.
In his directive, Prof. Sukardi emphasized the importance of structured task allocation and consistent supervision. “Responsibilities must be clearly defined. Task distribution needs to be reorganized, and every job must be ensured in its process. Work must proceed, and movement must be sustained to achieve the targets. I will continue to monitor so that everything runs according to target,” he asserted.
Rector Prof. Sukardi also underscored that the management of campus facilities and infrastructure must be taken seriously. Any area found to be untidy or poorly maintained should be addressed immediately without waiting for instructions. Every staff member is expected to act swiftly and responsively, ensuring that the campus environment remains comfortable, clean, and supportive of academic activities.
This initiative reflects the University of Mataram’s commitment to building a productive, quality‑oriented work culture. By being present among staff, the Rector continues to strengthen the foundation of campus management that is solid and responsive. It serves as a concrete push to guarantee that every responsibility is carried out properly, facilities are well‑managed, and academic services are increasingly enhanced through directed and sustainable work.
