40 Ways to Become a Great Educational Staff: Unram Holds Competency Training for ASN and Non-ASN

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) held competency development training for ASN and non-ASN education staff (tendik), which took place on February 20-26, 2025 in the Senate Conference Room, Unram Rectorate. A total of 150 participants from various faculties and work units at Unram participated in this training.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector II for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd., who also shared “40 Ways to Become a Great Staff” as a guide for participants to continue to develop. In his presentation, Prof. Sukardi emphasized the importance of developing academic abilities, systematic mindset, professional attitude, and integrity in performing duties as educational staff.
This training carries the topic “Computer Basics, Microsoft Office, and the Use of PDDIKTI and SISTER Phase I Applications for ASN and Non-ASN in the University of Mataram Environment”. The purpose of the training is to improve the skills of educational staff so that they are ready to be placed in various faculties or work units that require skilled personnel.
Head of Unram ASN and non-ASN Competency Development Training, Head of Finance and General Affairs Bureau: Aman, S.P., M.M. said that this activity was the first step for the tendiks in building a better future for Unram.
“This training will help them adapt and improve work effectiveness in the academic environment,” he said.
The main challenges in developing education personnel include improving quality and competence, welfare and careers, adaptation to technological advances, regulations and policies, work efficiency, and motivation and productivity. Therefore, Unram presents resource persons who are experts in their fields to ensure that this training provides maximum benefits for participants.
With this training, it is expected that Unram tendiks can be more professional and contribute optimally in supporting the progress of the university. In the future, Unram is committed to continuing to develop the competence of education personnel through various training and development programs, as proven by the training implementation plan in two periods. This step aims to enable the tendik to adapt to the times and provide the best service for the academic community and the community.
