ADAGIS Unram Ready to Showcase Geospatial Mapping Innovation at KMI Expo XVI 2025

Mataram, University of Mataram — The Entrepreneurial Student Development Program Team of the University of Mataram (P2MW Unram) once again showcases outstanding innovation and excellence through its business unit, ADAGIS, which has been selected to represent the University of Mataram at the 16th Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo in 2025. This national event will take place from 17–22 November 2025 at Tidar University, Sidotopo Campus, Magelang, Central Java.
ADAGIS was initiated by Siti Asiah Z.A as the team leader, along with members Dina Yuliani and Carlen Aufa Herman, all of whom are students of the Marine Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram. Through their proposal titled “ADAGIS: Mapping Made Easy,” this business unit operates under the category of services, tourism, and trade, and is classified as a growing-stage enterprise under the guidance of Sholihati Lathifa Sakina, S.Si., M.T.
As a practical and affordable geospatial solution for the academic community, ADAGIS offers an answer to the needs of students, lecturers, and institutions that often face challenges in creating maps for research and academic purposes.
“ADAGIS provides map-making services. We emphasize affordability so that our services are accessible to students, lecturers, and institutions. ADAGIS serves as a solution to the difficulties in producing maps, whether for research or other academic purposes,” explained the Team Leader, Siti Asiah Z.A.
In preparation for the KMI Expo, the ADAGIS team has carried out a series of comprehensive steps, ranging from strengthening their presentation materials and developing a business catalog to formulating branding strategies. According to Siti Asiah, their participation in the KMI Expo is not only about achieving recognition but also a strategic move to expand the reach of their business.
“Beyond hoping to win, we aim to broaden ADAGIS’s market. This expo is an important momentum to introduce ADAGIS to audiences across Indonesia. We want to showcase our services more widely, engage with potential users, interact with other entrepreneurial groups, share knowledge, and expand our network,” she added.
As an innovation designed to address academic challenges, ADAGIS offers accessible, accurate, and efficient map-making services, providing a highly relevant solution for students and researchers.
“ADAGIS was developed in response to a real issue: the difficulty of creating maps for assignments or research. With ADAGIS, map-making is no longer a problem,” emphasized Siti.
With a relevant innovation, thorough preparation, and a strong commitment to continuous growth, ADAGIS is optimistic about delivering its best at the 16th KMI Expo in 2025. The presence of ADAGIS stands as tangible proof of the entrepreneurial spirit of university students in creating solutions that benefit both the academic community and the wider society.
