Ade Muhwinsyah Won Silver Medal for Poetry Reading in Peksiminas 2024
Mataram, University of Mataram – Ade Muhwinsyah, a student of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) succeeded in recording a brilliant achievement by winning a silver medal or second place in the Men’s Poetry Reading category at the 2024 National Student Art Week (Peksiminas) on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the State University of Jakarta Sports Building (GOR UNJ).
The prestigious event which took place from 2 to 6 September 2024 was organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Puspresnas, BPTI and involved 78 universities from 30 provinces in Indonesia and competed in 15 categories of competitions. Ade Muhwinsyah managed to perform outstandingly in the midst of intense competition and managed to beat other participants to win a silver medal.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Unram, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T. expressed pride in Ade’s achievement and appreciated the effort and dedication that had been given in achieving achievements.
“We are very proud of Ade Muhwinsyah’s achievement. This is one of the concrete proofs of the art coaching that we apply at Unram through the MBKM program. Hopefully this achievement will motivate other students to continue to excel in their respective fields and take advantage of available opportunities to continue to develop themselves,” said Sujita.
“There is pride when I succeeded to win second place and bring home a silver medal for NTB. Peksiminas is a place for me to prove that I can upgrade myself. This achievement is the victory of the entire NTB contingent, especially the victory of Unram,” said Ade when interviewed by the Unram Public Relations Team on Monday (9/9).
Ade’s success is in line with Unram’s commitment in implementing the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program. This program aims to improve the quality of education by providing opportunities for students to participate in various activities, including in the fields of arts and culture, and supporting the development of student skills and competencies. Ade’s achievement in this national event is a reflection of the successful implementation of MBKM at Unram, allowing students to explore and develop their talents optimally.
Ade Muhwinsyah’s achievement in Peksiminas 2024 not only brings a good name for himself, but also for Unram. This is a clear example of how the MBKM program can help students excel at the national level and become an inspiration for the next generation to continue pursuing their dreams in various fields including in the arts and culture.
