BAN-PT Conducts Field Assessment, Unram Shows Digitalized Administration

Mataram, University of Mataram — The International Relations Study Program (IR Program) of the Faculty of Law, Social and Political Sciences, University of Mataram (FHISIP Unram) underwent a field assessment by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) on July 18, 2025, held in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room of FHISIP Unram.
Two assessors from BAN-PT, Dr. Adi Suryadi B, M.Si. from Hasanuddin University and Dr. Deasy Silvya Sari, S.IP., M.Si. from Padjadjaran University, were present to conduct data verification and validation.
In his remarks, the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., stated that the university is continuously adapting to advancements in information technology to improve academic and administrative services. He emphasized that there are already 58 programs supporting this effort.
“We have implemented digital administration—everything is digital now. There are no longer piles of documents on the Rector’s desk. Only a few official decrees or standard forms remain, as everything else is now handled online. A total of 58 digital programs have been developed by our IT center (Pustik),” explained the Rector.
In addition, Assessor Dr. Adi Suryadi B, M.Si. expressed his appreciation for the campus infrastructure and environment, which he considered well-organized.
“I saw in the documentation that the administration and infrastructure on campus are excellent. Yesterday afternoon I had the chance to walk around the Unram campus and saw many people jogging, especially in the morning,” he said.
The results of this field assessment will serve as the basis for BAN-PT’s final evaluation to determine the accreditation rating of the International Relations Study Program. With this achievement, it is expected that Unram’s IR Study Program will become increasingly competitive at both national and international levels.
