Bank Mandiri Talent Hunt Roadshow Targets Unram Fresh Graduates

Mataram, University of Mataram – Bank Mandiri once again held its second Talent Hunt Roadshow at the University of Mataram (Unram) on Tuesday (July 22, 2025), to recruit the best talents from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) to join the state-owned bank.
The event, held from 08.00 WITA at the Unram Dome Building, was attended by Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T., Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of Unram; Dwi Suswanto, S.Kom., M.M., Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau of Unram; and Ir. H. Abdul Faruk, M.M., Coordinator of the Student Affairs Working Group.
Also present at the event were members of Unram’s management, representatives from Bank Mandiri, and Unram alumni as the main participants of the program.
The Talent Hunt Roadshow aimed to provide participants with insights into potential post-graduation career paths with Bank Mandiri. The program specifically seeks talented individuals through the Special Regional Leadership Candidate scheme as an accelerated track to become officers at Bank Mandiri.
“This program is open even to fresh graduates with no prior work experience. Selected participants will undergo special training and education before the recruitment process,” explained a representative from Bank Mandiri during the event.
In his opening speech, Dr. Sujita expressed appreciation to Bank Mandiri for its initiative in developing human resources. “We thank the leadership of Bank Mandiri for their goodwill in organizing this program to educate and contribute to the nation’s welfare, especially for the educated community in West Nusa Tenggara,” he stated.
The Vice Rector for Student Affairs also emphasized the importance of soft skills in today’s job market. “Nowadays, landing a job isn’t easy by merely relying on a high GPA. What matters most are soft skills such as communication ability, integrity, teamwork, and adaptability,” he stressed.
Handoyo, Head of Bank Mandiri Region 11which the Bali and Nusa Tenggara (Bali Nusra) areas shared a proud fact about the contribution of Unram graduates to the institution. “Of the total 2,000 Bank Mandiri employees in Region 11 Bali Nusra, 13% are Unram graduates. Even more proudly, one of them currently holds the position of Local Manager,” said Handoyo.
The Talent Hunt Roadshow is part of Bank Mandiri’s efforts to strengthen its local talent base, particularly in regions with high economic development potential such as West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The program is expected to serve as a bridge for fresh graduates to start their professional careers in the banking sector, supported by comprehensive competency development.
