Mataram, University of Mataram – The Rector of the University of Mataram (Unram), Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., today, Friday (31/1) visited the Unram Sport Center to directly observe on the readiness of various sports facilities available.

During this visit, he checked the basketball court, futsal, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, rock climbing, and swimming pool .

The swimming pool at the Unram Sport Center consists of two separate areas for men and women. The male pool has 120-150 cm depth, while the female pool has a graduated depth of 60 cm, 80 cm, and 120 cm. Both pools are equipped with hot showers and changing rooms. In addition, there are also resting spots available in the pool area.

In the near future, the university will open free access for the Unram academic community, in the early stages after the official launch.

Furthermore, operational management of the facility will be implemented to ensure its smooth utilization. Through this phase, the university will evaluate and determine the schedule and certain days where free access is still given, before implementing further policies.

The Rector hopes that the Sport Center can increase the interest of students and educators in physical exercise, creating a healthier, more active, and productive campus environment.
