Communication Science Students from Unram Win 8 Medals and 1 Trophy at the Cipta Nusantara Fest Chapter Yogyakarta 2025 Competition

Mataram, University of Mataram – Students from the Communication Science Study Programme, Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Science (FHISIP) at the University of Mataram have once again made their mark at the national level. At the Cipta Nusantara Fest Chapter Yogyakarta 2025 competition held by EDUHUB in collaboration with Yogyakarta State University on 15–16 November 2025, the Communication Sciences student team brought home a total of 8 medals and 1 trophy.

Five Communication Sciences students performed brilliantly in various categories. Lasmi Hamsini won a Gold Medal in the Essay Category for IoT Technology, Automation & Smart Engineering, as well as a Bronze Medal in the Business Plan Category for Culinary & Fashion. Meanwhile, Yesi Hustina secured three awards: a Gold Medal in the Business Plan Category for Culinary & Fashion, a Silver Medal in the Business Plan Category for Food Agriculture & Livestock, and a Bronze Medal in the Business Plan Category for Energy & Environment.

Other achievements were made by Novia Aulia Rahmatin, who won a Silver Medal in Technology & AI, and Nayla Maliha Aqila Tambunan, who brought home a Bronze Medal in the same category. Meanwhile, Nizar Alhadits won a Silver Medal in Social & Economics and won the Favourite Poster Award in the same field.

These achievements further demonstrate the competence of Unram Communication Sciences students, who can compete not only at the local level but also nationally. These accomplishments also serve as tangible evidence of the study programme’s support in facilitating the development of students’ competencies and creativity.

“We are deeply grateful and proud to have brought the name of the study programme and Unram to the national level. We certainly hope to continue receiving support so that we can achieve more accomplishments in the future, not only at the national level but also internationally,” said one of the medalists, Yesi Hustina.
