Congratulations! Unram Officially Achieves Superior Accreditation

Mataram, University of Mataram – Today marks a new milestone for the University of Mataram (Unram). After going through the field assessment process by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) on Saturday, May 17, 2025, today, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, Unram officially holds the title of Superior Accreditation.
This predicate is the highest achievement in the university accreditation system in Indonesia, which indicates that Unram has met the quality standards of higher education as a whole, ranging from governance, human resources, research, community service, to institutional outcomes and impacts.
Unram Rector, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., enthusiastically welcomed this achievement and expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all parties involved in the accreditation process.
“Alhamdulillah, this is the result of cooperation and hard work of all elements at the University of Mataram, ranging from lecturers, education staff, students, alumni, to strategic partners. This Superior Accreditation is not only a recognition of the quality we have built, but also a motivation to continuously improve our quality,” said Prof. Bambang.
He also added that this achievement will be an important asset for Unram in strengthening its position as a competitive university at the national and international levels.
“With Excellent accreditation, we are more confident to establish international cooperation, expand research networks, and attract more outstanding students from all over Indonesia,” he continued.
This accreditation is also expected to positively impact the development of Unram’s accelerated programs, and support Unram’s vision as a superior and globally competitive higher education institution.
“We are committed to not only maintaining this achievement, but also continuing to innovate, strengthen governance, and create a conducive and inclusive academic environment for the entire academic community. This marks an important step toward a more advanced and globally competitive Unram,” he concluded.
