Encourages Quality Improvement of Health Services, UPT Klinik Unram Receives Lafkespri Accreditation Surveillance Team

Mataram, University of Mataram – UPT Klinik University of Mataram (Unram) received the accreditation surveillance team of the Primary Health Facility Accreditation Institute (Lafkespri), the survey process took place in a hybrid for 3 days from December 18-20, 2023. The online phase includes a presentation of the head of the clinic and a review of the documents that have been submitted (18/12), while the offline stage includes a review of clinic facilities and services by the surveyors, simulations of providing health services and other activities that support accreditation at UPT Klinik Unram.

The clinic accreditation survey is an assessment activity to measure the level of suitability for accreditation standards, as well as an important step to improve the quality of clinical health services that are better and in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Health, increasing protection for health resources, the community, and the environment. Clinical accreditation must be carried out every three years as stipulated in Permenkes No. 46 of 2015 concerning Clinical Accreditation.

Lafkespri itself is an accreditation organizing agency (LPA) PKLU-T2 that aims to provide assessments to health facilities in order to assure the public that the products and services produced are made by competent personnel and contribute to assisting the government in realizing quality health facilities.

The accreditation survey of UPT Klinik Unram was attended by the Lafkespri accreditation surveillance team consisting of Dr. H. Mohammad Ismail and Sahid Romdan S.Kep Ners M.Kes.

The Head of the City of Mataram Health Office, in this case represented by Hj. Sulmiati SKM. S.Kep, MM opened the online accreditation event. In his remarks, Hj. Sulmiati expressed his hope that the UPT Klinik Unram accreditation event would be successful and run smoothly and could get satisfactory results.

dr. Bayu Tirta Dirja, Ph. D., Sp.KL as the Head of UPT Klinik Unram hopes that through this accreditation survey UPT Klinik Unram can actualize its vision and mission in improving health services to the community. dr. Bayu further said that this event was a historical day for UPT Klinik Unram.

“The Unram Clinic has been improving and improving the quality of health services. Today is a historical day for us, because we are conducting this accreditation survey. The results of this survey will be the result of the quality of performance, the quality of service in encouraging us to improve health services to the community, both campus and off-campus communities, both those who use BPJS and non BPJS, “he said.
