Ensure the Success of UTBK 2025, Unram Prepares 594 Committee Members with Socialization and Special Briefings

Mataram, University of Mataram – On Friday, April 11, 2025, the University of Mataram (Unram) held a socialization and briefing for the Site Coordinators (PJL), Vice Site Coordinators (WPJL), and Supervisors of the 2025 UTBK SNBT at the Unram Dome Building.
This activity was held in order to maximize the implementation of the National Selection Computer-Based Test (UTBK SNBT) which will take place on April 23 to May 4, 2025.
A total of 594 committees participated in this activity as a form of preparation for Unram in guarding the selection process for new student admissions for the SNBT pathway. This year, 14,479 participants have registered for UTBK SNBT at Unram, all of them will take the exam at various locations in the Unram campus area. This number shows an increase of 18.6% compared to the previous year.
Unram Rector, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., in his speech emphasized the importance of maintaining the comfort of participants during the test.
“The computers used must be in optimal condition, including appropriate screen brightness. Committee members are also expected to accommodate participants with disabilities and respond to late arrivals with discretion,” he stated.
Furthermore, Prof. Bambang also emphasized Unram’s concern for the comfort of UTBK SNBT participants, by providing drinking water for all participants who will take the exam for 195 minutes, according to the allotted time. This facility is expected to support the physical condition of participants while working on the test, so that they can focus and be comfortable throughout the test.
The Head of Unram’s Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Dwi Suswanto, S.Kom., M.M., also socialized the overview, schedule, and implementation mechanism of UTBK SNBT 2025 to all committees. The material presented includes technical preparation and exam implementation flow in various locations that have been determined.
In the next session, the ICT Team, Center for Communication Technology and Information Systems (PUSTIK) represented by Azhari Hasbi, S.T., provided technical briefings to the committee regarding the implementation of computer-based examinations. This socialization was closed with an interactive Q&A session between the committee and the speakers.
The activity aims to increase the committee’s preparedness to deliver smooth, secure, and comfortable UTBK SNBT 2025 for all participants.
