FKIP Unram Opens Its 44th Anniversary Celebration with the Spirit of Synergy and Innovation

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram), officially opened its 44th Anniversary Celebration with a vibrant spirit of unity and innovation. The opening ceremony, held on Wednesday morning (November 5) at the main courtyard of FKIP, was led by the Dean of FKIP, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., and marked by the symbolic release of balloons and the first serve of a volleyball match between lecturers and education staff.
In his remarks, Dean Zulkifli expressed his appreciation to all members of the academic community for their continuous commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation in advancing FKIP as a leading and impactful faculty.
“This year’s theme—Synergy of the FKIP Academic Community of the University of Mataram: Spreading Science and Technology, Cultivating Values, Creating Impact for the Nation—reminds us to keep the spirit of excellence alive. Excellence is not only measured by academic achievements but also by values, dedication, and tangible contributions to society. With that spirit, FKIP will continue to thrive and make a greater impact for the nation,” said Dr. Zulkifli in his speech.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the 44th Anniversary Committee, Hapipi, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D., presented an overview of the series of activities that will take place throughout November 2025. He emphasized that this year’s celebration is not merely about festivity but also about strengthening academic, social, and sportsmanship values within the FKIP community.
“The anniversary series includes various academic activities such as The 2nd International Conference on Science, Social, and Technology Education (ICSSTE 2025), The 7th ICESS 2025, and national seminars at the study program level. In addition, there are social initiatives such as Professors Teaching in Schools and Blood Donation Drives, as well as a range of sports and recreational competitions like volleyball, badminton, pickleball, futsal, table tennis, chess, fun walks, and bazaars to enliven the campus atmosphere,” explained Hapipi.
The opening ceremony was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, education staff, and students. Following the official ceremony, a friendly volleyball match between lecturers and education staff took place as a symbol of unity and sportsmanship within the FKIP community.
As the highlight of the celebration, FKIP Unram will hold its grand closing ceremony on November 29, 2025, which will be attended by university leaders, current and retired faculty members and staff, as well as representatives of alumni.
